Our History
1755
Our origin
Our roots date back to some of Switzerland’s oldest private banks – Bank Leu, Clariden Bank and Bank Hofmann.
2007
Consolidation
The three private banks Clariden, Hofmann and Leu merged to Clariden Leu.
2012
Launch
When Clariden Leu was integrated into Credit Suisse, 14 senior client advisors founded Sound Capital (formerly Metropol Partners). This allowed them to maintain their independence and continue serving their clients.
2014
New name
Metropol Partners decided to rebrand as Sound Capital, moving forward with its market presence under a new name.
2022
Expansion
With the integration of Rheinfinanz AG, founded in 1984, Sound Capital now also has a presence in Basel.
2024
Today
With more than 40 employees and over CHF 4 billion worth of managed assets, Sound Capital is one of Switzerland’s leading independent wealth managers. And our exciting journey is only just beginning.
