Our roots date back to some of Switzerland’s oldest private banks – Bank Leu, Clariden Bank and Bank Hofmann.
The three private banks Clariden, Hofmann and Leu merged to Clariden Leu.
When Clariden Leu was integrated into Credit Suisse, 14 senior client advisors founded SoundCapital (formerly Metropol Partners). This allowed them to maintain their independence and continue serving their clients.
Metropol Partners decided to rebrand as SoundCapital, moving forward with its market presence under a new name.
With the integration of Rheinfinanz AG, founded in 1984, SoundCapital now also has a presence in Basel.
With the opening of its new location in Kreuzlingen on the shores of Lake Constance, SoundCapital is making a bold commitment to the DACH region, a crucial market for the company.
Since October 2025, we have been welcoming our clients to our new headquarters, The12, located directly at Zurich’s Sechseläutenplatz. A place that inspires and brings our identity to life.
